Deck is Mark Gamon’s second album – a suite of songs combining expertly crafted lyrics with intricate string-driven arrangements, and even a touch of distant Telecaster for good measure. It started as a solo album but gradually morphed until it now contains several songs that form a regular part of the repertoire of Thursday’s Band. Featuring delicious cameo appearances from Hannah Sanders, Ben Smith, Bella Chipperfield, Greg Camburn, Brian Harvey and Lizzie J Taylor.
